About Skate Living
Our mission is simple: help the businesses that make New York's neighborhoods worth living in get found, get chosen, and keep growing.
Why we exist
Skate Living started because we kept watching great local businesses lose to mediocre ones with better Google profiles. The pizza place with the line out the door had 40 reviews and a wrong phone number. The salon three blocks over with half the talent had 400 reviews and a booking link.
So we built a team that does the unglamorous, high-leverage work: fixing the profile, shooting real photos, answering the reviews, running ads that only show up to people who can actually walk in. Marketing that behaves like a good neighbor, not a billboard.
We're based in New York and we work in person. We know that Bay Ridge and Bushwick need different playbooks, that a Flushing dumpling spot and a Tribeca omakase counter have different customers, and that the 7 train matters more than a ZIP code.
